Route 66

My father in law has a cool car.  We used it as our getaway car from the wedding when we got married and I am seriously in love with it.  It is a 1958 Nash Metropolitan and quite possibly the cutest car ever ;)

Today my FIL made a surprise trip to Springfield and wanted to photograph the Nash in front of historic Route 66 landmarks throughout town.  He is planning to start a blog combining his love for the Nash with his interest in Route 66.

It was fun taking an afternoon to visit sites around Springfield with him :)  We definitely got a lot of looks!
